We Come as We Are and Encounter a God Who Meets Us Where We Are

For the Water’s Edge Church in Omaha, Nebraska, “WE” is more than an abbreviation. WE is mission.

WE is the guiding value of its community to "lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and each other."

Beginning in 2005 with the dream of becoming a church plant, a small group met in a crowded basement. Nearly ten years later WE became a vibrant worship community meeting in a neighborhood middle school. Today, thousands of WE members share the love of Christ from a 26-acre worship and mission center.

Wesleyan Impact Partners provided a flexible term loan that enabled the purchase of the land and the building of spaces for worship, along with a community center, outdoor playground, pavilion, sand volleyball courts, a cornhole pit, and a prayer path.

Wesleyan Impact Partners is honored to support The Water's Edge Church in their mission to reflect God's generosity and enable what God is doing in and through us.
